On November 3rd, 2005, Dr. Simon Cole
(University of California ) and Mr. Pat Wertheim (Arizona Dept. of
Public Safety),
participated in a debate regarding the reliability and admissibility of
fingerprints. Later that same day, Dr. Cole, Mr. Wertheim,
Ms. Lisa Steele (Massachusetts criminal defense attorney) and Ms. Kirsten
Wilson (New Hampshire Attorney General's Office)
conducted a panel discussion on Daubert issues in the field of
fingerprints.
